First, I meet with new clients to discuss their needs, desires, priorities and style. Then I listen and observe to get a real feel for each client’s unique characteristics and project goals.  Next, I go to the drawing board (computer nowadays) and create up to 3 options for floor plans and primary elevation layouts.   After the client has reviewed and “played” with the ideas, there is a second meeting to discuss which option and with any revisions the client would like to pursue.  Once the design is determined, I move into the Construction Drawings phase which will produce the client with a full set of plans ready for engineering and permit.  I have structural engineers and home builders which I can recommend if the client does not have anyone already.  See the list of “Partners” which I have worked closely with over the years. 

 

  Because this is a personal process for most clients, I try to build a trusting relationship with my clients and many times keep in touch long after the job is complete.  I take great interest in providing my clients with the best possible service and follow through to the completion of the project.
